Changes to Prescribing of Weight Loss Injections – June 2026
NHS England have announced changes to the eligibility criteria for prescribing of weight loss injections through the NHS.
We have completed a search of our records for eligible patients and will be contacting any patients who now meet the criteria to invite them to a face to face appointment with a GP.
The criteria remain very restricted and the number of patients affected is small. However, as our search is based in part on the height and weight information we have on your record which may have changed, if you feel you may be eligible, please see more information here
