Winter 2025 Flu and Covid Vaccinations
As in previous years, we are offering flu and Covid vaccinations here in the surgery to eligible patients to protect from Winter illnesses. The clinics are staffed by our GP and nursing team and you can be assured that your vaccinator will have access to your medical records and be happy to speak to you about any concerns you have.
We will shortly be inviting patients in these eligible groups to attend vaccination clinics throughout October.
If eligible, you will be offered either one or both vaccinations at your appointment.
For flu:
- Pregnant women
- Patients over the age of 65
- Patients between the ages of 18 and 65 in clinical risk groups (as defined by the NHS Green Book)
- Patients aged 2 and 3 on 31 August 2025 - patients in this cohort will receive invites when the practice has confirmation of the date of stock delivery
And for Covid:
- Patients over the age of 75
- Patients over 6 months who are immunosuppressed (as defined by the NHS Green Book)

We will also be contacting eligible housebound patients and those in residential care homes separately to arrange to vaccinate them.
Carers for elderly or disabled patients and close contacts of immunocompromised individuals are also eligible; please complete this form to request an invitation
School age children are also eligible and are usually vaccinated through the schools programme so we will not be inviting them to attend the surgery.
If you feel that you should have been invited and have not received an invitation by Friday 12 September, please complete this form. We will review your medical record and if we are able to offer you a vaccination under the eligibility criteria, we will send you an invitation to book an appointment. If, after reviewing your medical record, you do not meet the criteria, we will advise you of that.
We're aware that the confirmation message patients receive after booking their vaccinations refers to Covid only and not to flu, we're unable to edit this automated message but rest assured that you will be offered a flu jab.
More information on vaccine eligibility can be found on the NHS website
