What is eConsult?
We have listened to patient feedback our online consultation software allows you the opportunity to tell us in detail about your medical issue and symptoms, what you’ve already tried to do and how we can help you.
eConsult allows us to gather information so that our Triage Team are able to assess the information you provide to offer you the support you need with the right clinician the first time.
You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire which will be assessed by our Triage Team and we will then contact you to offer an appointment or a referral to the most appropriate service.
Exclusions
eConsult is available from 12am on Monday morning until 6:30pm on Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays).
We do not use eConsult for:
- Housebound patients
- Patients who require an interpreter at their appointments
- Nurse appointments (such as blood tests, cervical screening, vaccinations and injections)
- Annual reviews with a Clinical Pharmacist or Nurse (Diabetes, Hypertension, Respiratory, Cardiac)
- Medication reviews with a Clinical Pharmacist
- Post-natal appointments and 6-week baby checks
- Contraceptive advice and prescriptions
- NHS Health Checks
- Home visits
For these appointments, please call our Patient Services team.
Please only submit one questionnaire and do not submit multiple forms for the same condition.
