COVID-19 – Preparing the Surgery to See More Patients

We are getting the Surgery ready to see more patients and also for our Dispensing patients to be able to collect their medicines from us from 15 June.

We will have a “One-Way” system at our main entrance and in to & out of the main waiting room, and a waiting area for patients collecting from the Dispensary. As we are treating many patients remotely by eConsult, phone or by video, then we are able to space our waiting rooms chairs out.

As always, please use common sense and courtesy to others to maintain 2m distancing.

We have fitted unobtrusive glass panels on our Patient Services and Dispensary Counters.

We ask all patients attending the Practice as a courtesy to our staff and other patients to wear a Face Covering and to use the Hand Gel at our man entrance and also at our upstairs waiting room.

If dropping off a Repeat Prescription form, then please continue to do this into our Letterbox outside.

It is important though that if you do have COVID-19 Symptoms, even if you have recently tested negative, that you do not attend the surgery – call us so we can decide the best course of action.

And finally, please don’t come to the Surgery to book an appointment in person. Please use our eConsult for a GP or Minor Illness, or call us instead. We are minimising the number of patients in the Surgery at at one time
