COVID-19 – Antenatal Care During COVID-19

Our 2 midwives, Hayley and Lise, are now working from the Surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  During the continued COVID-19 the midwife service is undertaking a risk assessed basis for antenal visits based up on whether it is a first baby or if  this is a second or subsequent baby.  In addition it is recognised thae pregant women that are included with a BAME background are potentially at greater risk with COVID-19.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The Quad test is a test for Down syndrome and the women should have been told by the scan department to arrange this and is f2f.
  2. Scan pathway D is when they have extra scan to normal as they have raised dopplers and again the scan department should have informed them of this too.
  3. All appts are f2f, apart from the booking in appts.
