Community Midwives

The Community Midwives hold clinics twice a week in the Practice. They can be contacted at their main office on 01869 243763 where an answerphone will take messages. For more urgent matters, please contact the midwife on Oxford 01865 221696 during normal working hours and throughout evenings and weekends.

District Nurses

District Nurses are specially trained to assess nursing need and provide care to patients and their families in their own homes for housebound patients. They care for a wide range of people, including post-operative surgical patients, people with long-term medical conditions and palliative care needs.

Health Visitors

A Health Visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The Health Visitors use the Chat Health Service, which is a text service, for patients questions and queries where a Health Visitor will reply within 24 working hours. Text Chat Health on 07312 263 081

Counsellors

TalkingSpace Plus work actively with people struggling with depression and anxiety,
helping them move forward and recover using psychological therapies that work.

To access this service you will be required to self-refer, where you will then be offered either Group Counselling or 1 to 1 Counselling.  The 1 to 1 Counselling takes place at the Practice witha Talking Space Counsellor.  Click here for more details.

Our GP can also refer you to a In-House Counsellor, for certain lower level conditions for 1 to 1 support.
