HOW TO SEE YOUR
DOCTOR
All our doctors offer morning and
afternoon appointments - please book
a convenient time either by
telephoning (01869) 321888,
or by speaking to a receptionist at
our reception desk. Although you
will be registered with one doctor,
you may choose to see any of them.
When making an appointment simply
ask to see the doctor of your
choice.
We try to run to time as far as
possible. Sometimes, the doctor or
nurse needs to spend more time with
a patient, or is called out on an
emergency, so please bear with us if
you have to wait.
If you are unable to attend a booked
appointment, please let us know so
we can offer the appointment to
another patient.
MEDICALLY
URGENT PROBLEMS & THE TRIAGE SYSTEM
If you need an urgent or ‘same day’
appointment, or if you need
medicines urgently, please telephone
us and the receptionist will add you
to the next available slot on the
Triage list. A doctor or one of our
trained nurses will then contact you
(normally by telephone) to discuss
the best management of your problem.
This may mean an urgent or routine
appointment with a doctor or nurse,
or another appropriate service.
HOME VISITS
Patients are asked to come the
surgery wherever possible, to
utilise the good facilities for
examination and treatment.
If you need to see a doctor and are
too ill to travel to the practice,
please contact us by phone on
(01869) 321888 as soon as
possible.
